REDUSES to allow to be Manually Reset

WHEN WILL THIS EVER BE FIXED??

The root cause is a problem in VirtualBox, and not in Ubuntu.

Please ask Oracle VirtualBox.

And for correcting the time in Ubuntu use the following workaround:
In the system settings switch automatic time synchronization off and switch it on again.
