Dark themes for Inkscape Ubuntu

I would love to have different options for themes in Ubuntu. As a creative designer I like to change the look of it, what can I do to help?

I only know php, javascript, html5, but willing to learn how to create templates for Inkscape to expand my knowledge. Would be an honor to help your project, has been a big help for me and would love to give back with this.

Hi Rafael,

On Windows, I gather it may be possible to change the theme for Inkscape only, without changing the theme for all applications on the system. On Linux, I'm not sure that works. The icons can be exchanged easily.

('real' themes that can be switched via preferences are not supported currently. This would require work on the Inkscape code itself, and might have to wait until the switch to GTK3 is made: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Roadmap)

I guess I'll wait for the switch to GTK3
