Please don't post with previous message included. It makes Web interface unreadable.
It's not useful to check Gutsy as Gutsy is officially dead. Not LTS (Long Term Support) release are alive 18 month. So all release older than 9.10 (included) are not maintained.

In release 10.04, the rt2800pci driver does not support your 3090 chip (It does in the later releases though). ndiswrapper ... is another driver unwanted at this point, because I think the default rt2860sta driver will work for you -- it will be picked up from the /lib/modules/xxx/kernel/drivers/staging/rt2860 area automatically. So try
1)blacklist the rt2800pci
sudo gkedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
and add the lines
blacklist rt2800pci
blacklist rt2800lib
blacklist rt2x00pci
blacklist rt2x00lib

to the end of the file.
2)purge/remove completely the ndiswrapper package.
3)If wireless doesn 't work yet, create an empty config file
sudo mkdir -p /etc/Wireless/RT2860STA
sudo touch /etc/Wireless/RT2860STA/RT2860STA.dat
4)Still problems, try suppressing the n band so you fallback to the G band
gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/fix11n.conf
> > >
> > > add this line (with your driver in second position):

options rt2860sta 11n_disable=1 11n_disable50=1

Hello, and thank you for your response. I have tried everything you mentioned included below. Still no luck after a restart.

I am a Windows guy, new to Ubuntu, so I did everything carefully. Any other suggestions?

Thank you...
