update manager requests to update Epson but does not do so
Hi I am Cliffand am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
The update manager recommends updating the following;
Other updates (Seiko Epson Corp)
Epson Inkjet Printer driver(ESC/P-R) for Linux
epson-inkjet-
DESCRIPTION OF UPDATE
Changes for the versions:
Installed version: 1.1.2-1lsb3.2
Available version: 1.2.0-1lsb3.2
This update does not come from a source that supports changelogs.
This is a recommended update in update manager, but when I select 'Install updates' this is the message;
Requires installation of untrusted packages
The action would require the installation of packages from not authenticated sources.
DETAILs
epson-inkjet-
My printer is an EpsonCX9400fax is there something special I need to do to install this update, or disregard?
If install how?
if disregard how to remove?
Thanks Clliff
