Hi John,

Please try this procedure:

https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+question/57128

If the printer driver does not work in the 64-bit version of Ubuntu, then install the 32-bit version of Ubuntu (x86 compatible version) and retry the z600 driver installation.

Regards,

Mark

Hi John,

I suggest studying this guide:

http://www.unixguide.net/linux/linuxshortcuts.shtml

It explains how to use mkdir (make directory) and tar (for extracting tarballs)

Kind regards,

Mark
