stellarium does not start in ubuntu 16.04 VM
Since I upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04, I get an error trying to start stellarium. Sorry, the program "stellarium" closed unexpectedly
Your computer does not have enough free memory to automatically analyze the problem and send a report to the developers. The host of my VM is Mac OSX 10.10.5.

Why don't you run the native Mac version?
If you require this, we need a bit more, go along here:
https:/
https:/
Else somebody else with a real Mac running a virtual machine with the settings which you must tell will have to replicate this.

I see no problem here.
Maybe set RAM for your VM higher, try with 2GB?

Logfile looks good. I have no further idea. If you want Stellarium, try the native version. If you want to figure out how to configure Stellarium in a VM on Mac, maybe a Mac user can help.
