Window position gets set to -32000 sometimes

Asked by Charles d'Oro on 2011-06-08

Occasionally, when opening RedNotebook from the system tray, no window appears. When I open the configuration.cfg file, I see that both mainFrameX and mainFrameY have been set to -32000. Manually changing them to 0, and restarting RedNotebook remedies the problem.
Anybody else has this problem?

I'm working on a multi-monitor system, running Windows 7 Pro x64 with all the latest updates. I'm not sure if this has to do with multiple monitors, but I do not normally move the application window from one monitor to the next and back. Just now it happened with RedNotebook only being run on the primary monitor. The main window wasn't moved or resized since the app was started this morning, only minimized to the system tray.

Tx.

Charles.

Thanks for reporting this, I'll convert it to a bug report.

Charles d'Oro (extrude2001) said : #4

Jendrik,

been testing the new version, and up til now the problem didn't reappear. I even
went so far as to change the position in the configuration file by hand, and
restarting RedNotebook. Still went OK; coordinates are updated when the app is
closed.

I think this problem is fixed. Thanks.
