Bug Description

Occasionally, when opening RedNotebook from the system tray, no window appears. When I open the configuration.cfg file, I see that both mainFrameX and mainFrameY have been set to -32000. Manually changing them to 0, and restarting RedNotebook remedies the problem.
Anybody else has this problem?

I'm working on a multi-monitor system, running Windows 7 Pro x64 with all the latest updates. I'm not sure if this has to do with multiple monitors, but I do not normally move the application window from one monitor to the next and back. Just now it happened with RedNotebook only being run on the primary monitor. The main window wasn't moved or resized since the app was started this morning, only minimized to the system tray.

Tx.

Charles.

Which solution would you recommend here? Setting the value to 0 if it is below 0?

Jendrik,

yes, I'm using 1.1.6 (although it keeps asking me each time I start RedNotebook if I would like to upgrade to 1.1.6, since it still seems to think I'm on 1.1.5 - but I did install 1.1.6).
Setting it to 0 should resolve the problem, yes. The window will be in view at least when opened. Now it's complete invisible and that's awkward since you have to close RedNotebook thru the tray icon, change the configuration file, and restart RedNotebook again.

I've tested it quickly last night, but today I'll be testing it more
extensively. I will let you know by the end of the day if the problem seems
fixed.
