Isnt there any solid mechanism to reduce the work i mean there ought to be some stringent measures to reduce these incidents to minimal, as this has become a daily show. ?

We (the Launchpad team) discussed this in a meeting not too long ago, it does seem like this is getting worse.

There might be some restrictions we could add (.e.g., not allowing commenting before X karma, or after a certain amount of time, and something around those lines), but all that is still under discussion. We welcome suggestions!

The spam removal is on the way but not yet completed.

If these are bots will captcha help ? I agree with your above suggested way its similar to whats followed in ubuntu discourse etc.

Sameer, there's already a captcha on new-account signups. It slows spammers down, but it doesn't stop them.

Just adding a comment on the status of this ticket: most of the SPAM was removed, but some team's deletion is still in progress (they are marked for deletion, but not yet deleted). I'll close this once all SPAM in this list is remove

All spam here handled.

There was a deletion job that was stuck that needed to be sorted, but all done now.
