problems with creating a new project

Asked by Donald Raikes

Earlier today, I created a team "the-naked-mole" consisting of myself at present.

Now I want to create a project that that team manages.

When I go to create a project, I can fill in the first page, but when I get to the second page, and click on the find team lnik and search for my team, it isn't found.

also if I skip the step where I search for the team, and just try to complete the project creation, I am unable to select a license type for the project, and therefore my project creation fails.

What am I doing wrong?

1. The only reason the team might not be found is if it is an inclusive team, Open or Delegated. Your team Restricted so I don't see any issue

2. You must select a license so that Launchpad staff and contributors understand the projects terms. You can choose "I Dont't Know" which will allow you to delay selecting a license.

I have tested that project creation does work when I choose a license and I search for "the-naked-mole" as the project maintainer.

I am blind, and for some reason, when I am on the second page fo the
project registration process, I cannot select a license at all. I see
a section headed licensing:
and it has three categories of licenses under it, but I see no way to
actually select a license type.

ah, you are a victim of bug #418215. the html + js for the licenses is wretched. I would hope that you can tab to each heading, press enter to expand and contract the sections. I can, and I can tab to through each licenses' checkbox and press enter to select one (but the label is not selected and I do not think you will know which one is selected.) :)

I can do the basic registration for you. What is the project name and the name to appear in the URL. I need a one sentence summary and the list of licenses you want.

The project is "assigned" to the the-naked-mole team. Teams may be in the maintainer, driver, or bug supervisor roles. These roles are the only formal associations teams/people have with projects.

Can you help with this problem?
