HP ScanJet 200 is not supported in Linux

Following questions reveal there is no support for HP Scanjet 200 in Linux for more than 6 years:

HPLIP may obtain this support via SANE backend if technical documents for GL125 scanner controller which is the base of mentioned model would become available.
Is there any opportunity for HPLIP team to contact HP Windows driver development team to get GL125 scanner controller register map and share it for corresponding SANE backend development?
