Is your client hashing files when this happens ?
If so go to Settings / Advanced / Enable fast hashing
you find it completely @ the bottom of the list and try to disable that once ....

Hi Poy,
my security software is Symantec Norton AntiVirus, this is the only new information that I can give you. Sorry but I'm non able to give you a bug report.
You know when the next version come out? Maybe I can solve the problem with other more stable version; it's right that for this version there is one unstable version and one stable version?
Many thanks,
Gianni
have you tried to disable your anti-virus?
the next version should be out very shortly.

Hi poy, is it possible that the savescreen can create some problems to my DC++ session? Sometimes I think that the passage from the state of active screen to the state of save screen can crash the session.
Is a possible thing?
Best regards,
Gianni

Hi Poy, yesterday i've downloaded the new version 0.762 and now the session is more stable but yet crash; now when the session crash send me to video a message box that tell me:
on the title bar --> Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
in the message box --> Runtime Error!
I hope that this segnalation can give you an idea for to solve my issue.
Best Regards,
Gianni
unfortunately that standard crash message doesn't help at all, you'll want to follow the FAQ i linked above and especially the one linked in the 4th paragraph in order to get a useful crash log.

Hi Poy I've catched the problem and I've tried to use the debugger:
under the title bar i can read this phrase --> win32 exception unmanaged bu DcPlusPlus.
but when I start the debugger with VisualStudio2005 the program leave this message:
Unhandled exception at 0x7c92b21a in DCPlusPlus.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x00000010.
Can help you this information?
Best Regards,
Gianni
VS2005 won't do, you need either VS2008 or GDB. then use the corresponding debug build from <http://
if you have neither VS2008 nor GDB, GDB is the simplest to install, it's just a small exe.

Hi Poy, this are the information that I can read after the DC++ Session crashed out and ask me if I want to send the information to Microsoft:
szAppName : DCPlusPlus.exe szAppVer : 0.7.6.2 szModName : hungapp
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000
So the technical information the system tell me that this is the file that I can send to microsoft:
C:\DOCUME~
