Zim

Place a commonly used command in tool bar

Asked by Richard Hainsworth

I use View Link Map quite a lot.
I would like to put an icon into the tool bar (where the home, forward, backward, edit etc icons are) so that I do not need to go to the menu all the time.

I could not discover a config file that describes the tool bar icons.

It there is not one, may be arrange for one?

There is not really a config file for it. But there is a data file that
specifies the layout. You can find it in the zim data folder with the name
"menubar.xml". For linux the folder would be /usr/share/zim, on windows
%APPDATA%/zim/data.

Regards,

Jaap

However, I actually hacked LinkMap and adapted the <ui> data string to put the icon into the toolbar.
