Zim

Alphanumeric sorting broken

Asked by Holstener Liesel

I have a really weird issue with alphanumeric sorting in the Zim index tree in Zim 0.60 (happens both on Ubuntu 14.04 and OSX). New pages are sometimes not sorted alphabetically, but seemingly completely random. I have yet to recognise a pattern. This happens with titles such as:

2015 HS
2016 FS ...
2015 FS

Or even with titles generated automatically by the calandar template:

07
19
04

Rebuilding the index doesn't do anything to fix the order. I'm at a loss.

Here are two screen shots of the way the index tree looks in Ubuntu. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3xssn5i9khec069/AAA4-nAJpLA9r0gRLYTA9evea?dl=0

I think some fixes were done in newer versions. But I'm busy with a
complete overhaul of the index anyway.
