Porting to Qt?

Just a curiosity as I mainly work in KDE and now that I switched to plasma 5 and my Tray icon disappeared. I started to wonder about a migration to Qt for zim. Would it be desirable for this project to port to Qt?

Opinions differ on the topic. My point of view is that I rather stick to
Gtk, if only due to the amount of work it would be to port the existing
code. See the mailing list archives for further discussion.
