Zim

Error message from zim / graphviz

Asked by Rich Trefz

ZIm 0.59 on Win7x64
I installed graphviz-2.30.1 and I believe dot.exe is in path because I can activate plugin.

After pasting in the foo - bar example from docs, preview is blank and if I click OK, I get:
    An error occurred while generating the image.
    Do you want to save the source text anyway?

I have tried dot.exe manually and it does generate a png from the foo-bar diagram example.

digraph G {
  foo -> bar
  bar -> baz
  baz -> foo
}

Thanks for the references. I can confirm that I have better result starting ZIM from desktop shortcut than from a batch file or shell. I have a few different notebooks and wanted to be able to start up a particular one

If I start ZIM and pick the notebook from the "open notebook" dialog, then all is well. If I try to pass notebook path on command line, then ZIM is fine, but graphviz doesn't work.
