Dragging blocked text location

Asked by Robin

It would be very useful if the source location was added on to the end of a block of text being dragged into Zim Wiki. Has anyone written an addon that does it automatically?

For example:
I find some text in online wikipedia. I wish to copy it into my Zim. I block it and drag and drop. Only the text is copied, but it would help if at the end of the copied text in Zim, the source url was appended.

Have a look at the firefox plugin that was announced on the mailing
list this month, it does exactly that.

Unfortunately without a browser plugin this behavior is not possible,
because zim does not know where the content comes from (we just "see"
what is on the clipboard, but not who put it there).

It looks like what I would like but I can not run it because it does not work with Firefox 15. Do you know if it is easy to adjust it?

Please contact the creator of the plugin, I did not work on it myself.
