Problem with the autosave mode?

Hi,
I have a big problem, I think with the autosave mode. I can not use the editor for the most of the running time. For about 70 - 80% of the time is not responding and that every 30 seconds. As you can understand I can not use the programm any more.
Is there a possibility to fix it? Is it possible to cancel out the autosave mode?
Please advise.
I 'm using a windows portable version on Zim. On the whole I have typed only a few thousand words.

You can change the autosave interval by editing the config file
"%HOME%/.config/zim/preferences.conf". Look for the parameter
"autosave_timeout".

But would be interesting to know why it takes so long on your system.
Do you have a single, very large page, or maybe you have the notebook
stored on a slow file system like a share drive?
