Yade on redhat

Asked by Roozbeh Rezakhani

Hi Everyone,

I am a new user of Yade. I have noticed that there are problems with installing Yade on redhat, which I have not tried yet. Would you please share your experience and share if there is any installation guide for Yade on redhat?

Thanks,
Roozbeh

Hello,

Welcome to Yade! The Yade documentation [1] is undoubtedly going to be your best resource as you move forward. Please use and reference it when you create future questions.

>I have noticed that there are problems with installing Yade on redhat

Where did you notice these problems? Launchpad? You can and should also reference other similar launchpad questions by link so that we can all be on the same page.

This answer [2] is still relevant i.e. find/manullay compile the corresponding RPM libraries and then compile yade as usual.

>installation guide for Yade on redhat?

I am not aware of one.

Cheers,

Robert
