Creating a .mesh (not .msh) file for Yade use
Asked by
Christopher Stanbridge
Apologies as this is not directly a Yade question, but I couldn't find any similar question-asking forums for Gmsh and the question does relate to a format that is tied in with Yade.
I noticed that meshes used to create GTU surfaces in Yade must have the extension ".mesh". However, when I save meshes in Gmsh, the default extension is ".msh" (".mesh" is quite far down the list of possible choices, in fact), which doesn't seem to be compatible with Yade. Are there any additional conversion mechanisms I can use to turn a .msh into a .mesh within the Yade script?
