periodic boundary

Asked by Martin Nie

hi,
I'm looking for possiblities to shape periodic boundaries like a quarter cylinder oder a quarter cauldron.
In my simulation, there shall be a moving cauldron filled with spheres. Regarding the time to simulate, I'm trying to find a solution to simulate only a quarter oder less of these moving spheres.

best regards
Thanks!

Hi Martin,

for my simulations I need also periodic boundaries in cylindrical
coordinates. The only problem - lack of time. I will try to implement it
on Christmas-holidays...

Cheers,

Anton

thanks,
I have a further question: Can I tell the periodic boundaries to ignore bodies? The reason is, that I use O.cell.setBox. But my cauldron is devided by this box.
