Contact facet-sphere in a new law

Asked by Ricardo Pieralisi

Hi,

In a previous question [1], I asked about changing the contact behauvior with a certain penetration (two-phase contact). So as you suggested, I am writing a new law. In this first step I just added the two-phase contact, when I simulated the contact with 2 spheres the calculation run was perfect. But when I made a simple gravity deposition I had a strange problem: first I added the facet (OK), then a added the spheres (all the facets presented a drastic change of position)..

Sphere-sphere example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/itqftaawj46w4dc/Law-sphere.py

May someone take a look at the code?

Thank you!

This problem appears when I use the makeCloud command.,.
I tried with randomDensePack and the law works properly,.

Please, create an account on GitHub and clone yade's code [1].
It will be much more easier to analyze the code.
