Where to find scripts of examples ?

Asked by Arthur Mercier

Hi,

I use Ubuntu 10.10 and Yade bzr2811. I'm a beginner in the Yade environment and from m point of view the best way to learn a software is to practise some examples.
I'd like to have the scripts of the examples shown here,
https://yade-dem.org/wiki/Scr:DEM_with_local_moment_law
https://yade-dem.org/wiki/Scr:Simple_Spring
https://yade-dem.org/wiki/Scr:Other

Because there is a lot of informations in the screenshots given, so with these scripts it could be easy to learn how to create cohesive particles and/or cubic particles.

Thanks !

Those screenshots are relatively old.
It is better to explore ./examples/ and ./scripts/test folders in the
yade source code.

There is also some outdated data, but it is in more-less working state.

Title: "Starting to learn YADE and example code for creating polygon particle in assembly?"
A user seeks advice on starting with YADE for learning, writing codes, and simulation. They request an example code for creating polygon particles in assembly and are advised to follow tutorial [1] and create polyhedra as demonstrated in [2]. The user thanks Robert Caulk for solving their question.

Title: "Particles Packing with overlaps"
User seeks assistance with creating an overlapping spherical particle packing in Yade for CFD simulations in Ansys, focusing on adjusting parameters such as autoCompressionActivation, box size, and internalCompaction to obtain geometry attributes like porosity and coordination number after several iterations. They successfully resolved their issue with help from Klaus Thoeni.
