Add a window decorations event

Asked by Daniel Venturini

The window decorations is very useful to move the pads. But, i think it's very ugly to show it every time.
So, when i want to move the pads, i open the 'preferences' and select 'show window decorations'. Then, i move the pad and unselect 'show window decorations'.

But, i thing if the window decoration was showed/unshowed with an event, something like Ctrl+..., it'd be better.

Thanks for the awesome app.

Hi Daniel,

You might be right that a short-cut might be handy.
On the other hand, I am not sure if you need to decorate the window to move
it.

I move my pads (without window decorations) by CTRL+[left mouse
button]+[move mouse].

Does that make sense? :)

Hi Arthur,

Great, this solve my question. I haven't seen the CTRL+[left mouse] at help menu before, but I took a look carefully and I saw it and it works very well.
Thanks.

To alleviate the inconvenience of manually toggling the visibility of window decorations each time pads need to be moved, a solution can be devised to introduce a more streamlined approach. This solution entails implementing a customizable keyboard shortcut, such as Ctrl + D, to facilitate the quick toggling of window decorations. By incorporating event handling logic, the application can detect when the designated shortcut is triggered, enabling users to swiftly toggle the visibility of window decorations without navigating through menus. Additionally, retaining the option within the preferences menu allows users, including painters and decorators https://mylondonpainter.co.uk/painter-and-decorator-south-london/, to customize their preferred behavior based on their workflow and aesthetic preferences. This solution enhances user experience by providing a more efficient method for managing window decorations, thereby improving productivity and workflow efficiency for professionals in various industries.
