Assuming there are appropriate codecs installed and the video files in question play in Windows Media Player correctly then they should play fine.

You may need to rename them to either .mpg or .avi depending on exactly how they're encoded to get them uploaded in to Xibo server.

You need to rename the file as I said before.

eg if your file is called "video.mp4" rename it to "video.avi" or "video.mpg". You may have to try both but assuming your clients have the correct codecs they will then play the video.

The problem is not the client but the server upload xibo ...
The message is "your file has an not supported by this media type",
the name was changed file . avi or mpg, but their extensions are not renamed so relative ... ... no physical

Are you sure you are changing the extension?

Xibo only reports the error you are seeing based on the file extension

I took some doubts,
First I tried to upload videos MPG4 and Mpeg4, as explained above, but it was not possible.
I have seen some of the keystones of xibo, because I develop in PHP.
Can you help me to change according to my folly??
  Thank you for your attention

I don't know how to help you understand.

You have a file "renoir.mp4". Rename that file to "renoir.mpg" and then it will work.

If it doesn't work, rename it to "renoir.avi" instead.

Alex

Can you help with this problem?
