RSS tickers stopped working overnight

Asked by Fredrik Andersson

All my rss feeds has stopped working overnight and not showing in the preview or on the android device. It seems like all of the feeds are returning empty content.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Fredrik

Assuming you are running 1.6 series all of the RSS feeds are served via your CMS - meaning the CMS downloads and assembles the RSS feeds and then forwards them onwards to the client.

If (for some reason) your CMS lost connection to these feeds, then that would explain the problem.

How you check this depends on where your CMS actually is - on a windows machine you could just open Internal Explorer, on a linux machine you could use wget

Hi Dan
Yes I'm having 1.6.2 installed on a unix server at a webhosting company , then I installed 1.6.2 on another domain and then it started to work.
I request information from , Instagram, twitter and Yahoo weather and turn them into RSS feeds so I can format the information in the Ticker Editor
Now it's working on both domains and I don't realy know why
