You need to go to the Microsoft knowledge base article linked from the install guide and run the fixit application they offer

You must be using the full version of PowerPoint. PowerPoint viewer will not work.

It seems that the FixIT script Microsoft provide for Office 2007 doesn't work on 2010.

They have a new knowledgebase article here instead: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982995/en-us

I've updated the wiki.

Please stop emailing me directly. You need to keep all correspondence about this issue in the Answers section of Launchpad.

With regards to those keys not being there, then I suggest you add them as the article says to.
