Hi Ravi

You are of course free to rebrand the software as you see fit - subeject to the terms of the AGPL and the Trademark Policy which can be found here: http://wiki.xibo.org.uk/wiki/Use_of_the_Xibo_name_and_logo

As to exactly how you'd go about rebranding - I'm afraid you're on your own with that.

If it's not something your company has the skills to undertake themselves then speak to us at <email address hidden> and we can put you in touch with someone who may be able to help.

Bear in mind though that any changes to the source code for Xibo (which by definition rebranding will require) must be made available to your customers.

Thanks alex.

Mostly, we will not touch any code. We will replay only logo and client facing labels so that it does look good.
Please let me know where i can get the source code and i have skilled resources who can make those required changes and create a .msi package which client can install on his desktops.

If required, we will get back to you for any help.

Regards,
Ravi

The code is in a bazaar repository.

Again I'd remind you that as a company if you don't understand the implications of the AGPL license you should seek legal advice, but that you MUST provide each customer a copy of the source code that you're running on your server and the client application. It must be the actual code that's running - modifications and all.

We meet that requirement of the AGPL by having a "Source" link on the login page of the server component that links to the source code. If your customers won't have access to the server then you'll need to come up with an alternative method of distributing the source code to them.

Also if you're commercially reselling Xibo then I would expect your company to take on the burden of the support for that (ie I wouldn't expect your customers to show up here asking us to support your commercial service).

Regards

Alex

Ravi

You need to use a bazaar client to download the source code. http://bazaar.canonical.com/en/

You compile with visual studio. You need a third party app to do the msi
packaging.

Hi,
Use the Xibo but when the media and the big logo Xibo keeps popping up!
wanted to change the image Xibo put the logo over the text is not charging for individual thinking and error.
