To insert an image into a post, click on the 'image' button in the top toolbar. Now click on 'browse server', and upload the image or file you desire. Currently, most image formats are accepted, though more can be added as needed.

Note that if you'd like to upload a PDF or other type of file, there should be an 'upload' or 'file attachment' field at the bottom of the page.

Looks good for files other than jpgs.

To insert images using the WYSIWYG editor the file also has to already be
on the server and this upload section you have added has very restricted
file types.

So question is whether to use this "addtional files" section as a method to
get all files, including images (if jpg, png, tiff, etc can be added to
accetpable file types), on to the server and just use the URL it creates to
plug in to the "insert image" function within the editor itself.

Last thing is that only one file can be uploaded. Then the "additional
files" option disappears. So, if multiple images or pdfs were to be
inserted, this doesn't seem to be an option - is there a way to enable
multiple files?

OK - Sorry - now I see the "upload" option within the image function of the
WYSIWYG toolbar.

Issue remains for multiple pdfs.

Also, removing the listing of the file removes the file/link from the
server.

Any role for having video options possibly for the upload files area? To
allow folks to download any native video files associated with a case or a
post - may be nice and be a step toward a more "open" way of life for
otherwise very proprietary guys like me!

All file types you want can be added here:

Sadly, they have to be added intentionally. There's no 'removing all restrictions' on this one.
