Access Samba share in 10.10 unity

Hi, I'Ve recently upgraded my sisters netbook from 10.04 to 10.10, which gave her the latest unity.
However it's kinda slow she's very pleasant by it, BUT
as nautilus seems to be fully replaced we didn't find a way to connect to a SMB share like in
https:/
we've used SMB shares earlier via the places menu and have an entry in the bookmarks section of the unity files and folders page.
However we get nothing if clicking on it, and we don't find a way to connect to new SMB shares.
