spread mode how do I move windows to other workspaces?

Asked by Andres Muniz

I type super+s to get the spread mode and according to the http://askubuntu.com/questions/28086/unity-keyboard-mouse-shortcuts it should let me manage the windows. i.e. move windows from one workspace to another. How do I do this?

Can't you just drag and drop windows from one workspace to another in expo mode? Be sure to release the <super>-s keys, otherwise it won't work. If that doesn't work you can always just drag the window over the edge in normal mode.

Hi Tom Thanks for this,
I cannot drag and drop windows from one workspace to another in spread
mode. I do release super key immediately after super+s to get the spread
mode.

I have un-maximized a window to move the windows to another workspace
but even though more than 80% is out of the initial workspace I cannot
see anything in the adjacent workspace.

The only way I have found to move a window is by using shift+ ctrl +alt
arrow keys.

Hi Andres,

This is a known bug, which should get fixed in the next release.
