UCK needs the original ubuntu(iso) file without any changes, if you make changes in the .iso file before opening with the UCK then it gives the following error code

Ubuntu Customization Kit 2.0.8
Starting CD remastering on Sun May 24 14:50:27 IST 2009
Customization dir=/home/nrcfoss/tmp/customization-scripts
Mounting ISO image...
Unpacking ISO image...
Unmounting ISO image...
Mounting SquashFS image...
Unpacking SquashFS image...
Unmounting SquashFS image...
mount: mount point /home/nrcfoss/tmp/remaster-root/dev/pts does not exist
Unmounting directory /home/nrcfoss/tmp/remaster-root/proc...
Unmounting directory /home/nrcfoss/tmp/remaster-root/sys...
Failed to mount /home/nrcfoss/tmp/remaster-root/dev/pts, error=32

Did you got the same error or is there any modification pls give me accurate information to guide you.

Haim i think you are not using the original ubuntu .iso image which is provided by the ubuntu website, That is it may be corrupted in any of the way. Either it may be some error while downloading the .iso image or it may be corrupted while making an .iso image from a scratched CD or DVD because the Error code-32 Refers to (Not a genuine Ubuntu image)

You are right, the guide i found (howtoforge) says you can create a
kubuntu image so i used a kubuntu 9.04 CD....

any way thanks.
