go to applications add/remove or use synaptic search for firestarter then install

Sorry to have bothered you. Firestarter is not under the add/remove applications function, but it is in the synaptic package manager, which I thought I had already checked. One last question; now that Firestarter is installed does it run at start-up or should I start it after I start-up the computer?

you can install directly by command line :
$ sudo apt-get install firestarter
