Although the perfect help of actionparsnip, my problem as described above is still not solved.

Often when the computer returns from the screensaver modus the computer gives a blank screen. And I have still not the look and feel of 11.04 natty.

What is going wrong with my system??

Are there any bugs reported. You could try disabling the screensaver in the interim.
