ATI Radeon stops wifi

Asked by Michael Bradsher

Okay i am new to Ubuntu so please bare with me. I installed Ubuntu 10.4 onto a Toshiba L505D-5027. It has an ATI Radeon 4200. When I install the driver my wifi cuts out every five minutes and then comes right back on. I deactivate the ATI and then it reboot and the wifi works great. Does anyone have any possibilities as to why the ATI Radeon s affecting the Wifi? Thanks for all the help.

When the wifi drops, open a terminal and run:

dmesg | tail

What is output?
