Please give us some more infos about your hard disk partitions: open a terminal from the menu Applications → Accessories → Terminal and type:

sudo fdisk -l

( the system ask you a password give your user password, you will not see nothing when you type it, then press enter )

to get partition list and then copy and paste result here...

You already have an installed Windows or at least you have already NTFS Win partitions...

So to install a Win on a ext3 partition i think you need to install virtualbox-ose package in Ubuntu an then install Windows on a virtual pc created with Virtualbox.

Here already answered questions about VirtualBox https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose

Here some howto https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose/+question/76833

Can you help with this problem?
