how to install Win7 on ubuntu 10.04 system ?

So how on Earth can I do this? Is it actually possible at all? I'm not the most tech savvy person on the planet and only have a very basic use knowledge of this ubuntu I am running now. Still plenty I have no idea how to do with it. HELP!!!

Firstly ensure your backups are up to date in case of catastrophe.

Boot to Ubuntu liveCD and resize your Linux partitions, you will need to create free space to install Win7 to. You can now boot to your Win7 CD and install to the free space (watch options during install, the default is to use all the drive as far as I am aware). Install the OS and set it up. You will now need to boot back to the Ubuntu liveCD and reinstate Grub to the MBR. The Windows installer will blindly write it's own bootloader to the drive so you need to get Grub back so you can dual boot.
