If Remote Desktop Viewer is installed does it mean someones watching me

Asked by Kate

I just noticed that Remote Desktop viewer is installed on my computer. I don't know how long its been on my computer for. Does Ubuntu come with it installed or does it mean that someone is spying on me?

No, Desktop Remote viewer is the client, to view other desktop. Ubuntu have
a Desktop Share service called vino. I you type 'Desktop Sharing' in Dash
Desktop Share Preferences show up and you can activate the server.
