Vino is a VNC server and Vinagre is a client, both are in a default install. If you are accessing over wAN then use an SSH tunnel as VNC has ZERO security

OK - thanks
I answered my own question. I already own RealVNC licenses - and the
Enterprise viewer is free anyway and works the best. It does have a DEB
package for install as well. Guess I should look a little deeper before
asking for help form you guys. I apologize. AS far as security goes... I use
VNC only for my internal network and machines - it does not go out to the
internet nor past my firewall

Thanks
