Errors when trying to update: Bug in System-Settings?
I'm having problems with updates lately: When I click on the 'update'-button next to the name of a program in the System Settings the update is downloaded, but is not beeing installed. The error message I get is "ProcessError: 0 - ErrorInProc...". When I click on the 'retry'-button I get the same error.
Since I get the same error message for each of the nine updates that could be installed I suspect that there is a bug in the System Settings. How can I find out if this really is a bug in the System Settings? In which logfile could I search for the complete error message? (I think it is shortened).

I suggest you report a bug. Utopic is not even remotely ready and is not stable. You will get issues up to and even a few weeks after release.
If you want to use a half-ready OS and want to put up with bugs and errors, but want to report them to get the OS ready for release in October, then by all means use Utopic but you WILL get issues like this.
If you need an OS that works I suggest you wipe Utopic off and install Trusty. Not only is Trusty rock solid and released. it is also LTS so is supported til APril 2019. Utopic only has 9 months support so wil lbe EOL in July 2015
The fact that you cannot resolve this issue yourself should be screaming at you the you are nit technically adept with Linux / Ubuntu to be using pre-releases (Which is what Utopic is) and stick to the released Ubuntu versions.

Thanks, I'll report a bug.
As long as I can use my phone for calls/sms/internet and as long as it doesn't crash too often I'll stick to Utopic in the hope that I can help with finding bugs.
It is true that I'm not really technically adept but I hope that I can help finding bugs. The more users a software has the unlikelier it is that a bug is not being noticed, right? (I hope that I do not produce more work than I help with reporting bugs...)
