Having different wallpapers on multiple monitors.

Asked by Dale Thomas

I am one of several people who have multiple monitor setups, and would like to have a different wallpaper on each monitor. We have tried the App Hydrapapers.. It appears to work until one hits the Apply button, but the App never saves any settings. We have wasted many attempts to get it to work. I even installed Flat Paks and FlatHubs, that at least got me to get to 100% installation, before without FlatHubs the install failed at about 35%. Why is this so difficult when even Ubuntu or other linux Distro's using XFCE it is a piece of cake.

In addition, we would like to be able to adjust the panels to span the monitors as well as putting panels on each different monitor.

Thank you for any help or assistance, or when the panel is updated and/or the monitor setting.

The way I have done this in the past is to make a long image that spans all the desktops. Its hacky but works.
