"Get Extensions" link in add-ons window

Asked by michael perigard

Opening the Add-ons window and clicking "Get Extensions" in the corner of the extensions tab brings you to a web page @ addons.mozilla.org. Is there a way to configure the "Get Extensions" link in the Ubuntu packaged Firefox to, instead, link to the "Ubuntu Software Center" configured to show the many Ubuntu packaged Thunderbird extensions?

Alright there aren't many ubuntu packaged thunderbird extensions,
besides a few available in the universe, we want users to have access
to any and all the extensions out there, not only the ones that we
have packages. But if you want to do that, go ahead and jump in, get
the firefox source code and make the changes you would like in it :)

only want to use it. That is a tribute to how good Linux is.
