alien

hola, como hago para instalar alien ya que no esta en mi synaptic.

cuando hago:

sudo apt-get install alien

 el error es:

El paquete alien no está disponible, pero algún otro paquete hace referencia
a él. Esto puede significar que el paquete falta, está obsoleto o sólo se
encuentra disponible desde alguna otra fuente
E: El paquete alien no tiene candidato para su instalación

¿Tienes habilitados los repositorios de Internet? Alien está en la sección main, deberías poder instalarlo sin problemas porque los repositorios de Internet se activan solos. ¿Qué versión de Ubuntu tienes?

Hola caro,

debes entrar en launchpad y marcarlo como solved si asi lo deseas

Caro, para poder marcarlo como SOLVED debes estrar a Launchpad, y entonces seleccionar alli la opción. Esto es importante para todos, en especial para quienes procuramos dar respuestas a las preguntas de los usuarios.
