admin password need to reset forgot

Hi,

You can use your own password when trying to update. The password update-manager asks you is the one you use to login with your user. Does this solve your problem?

I'm moving this question to Ubuntu, as it doesn't regards Launchpad.

so far no correct answer.how did i make an admin password and all words i use do not work,there has to be a way to delete or remove the question so i can get updates and not be locked out of my pc.someone must know what i am talking about becaues they had to install the admin. password to gain access to change things in there pc,s.or you all would be asking the same question as i.someone hasto be an ubuntu guru..
