Password not working in terminal

I am trying to work in the terminal when it ask for the password I type it in and it says password not right how can I fix this I as using Kbuntu 11.10

The Password works fine on boot

The password in terminal is hidden, so when you have finished to write it just hit enter and see if works.

You can always use kdesudo and you will get a feedback, as Enrico says, the input is entirely hidden but it IS being entered.
