var/www access denied

Hello Guys,

I am new to ubuntu but i managed to install ubuntu 11.04 on my laptop, because i write web application in php i downloaded and install LAMP but unfortunately i have not been able to upload php file to /var/www directory getting access denied error, i have googled but no solution.

I need to be able to save to this directory, any help

Hello,
Open a terminal (CTRL + T) then type: sudo nautilus /var/www
you'll have all the access rights for your directory.

Thanks for your reply, but this the output i got

And nautilus doesn't start ?
