Application like Word in Ubuntu

IN YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM ,DO I9 HAVE APPLICATION LIKE IN MICROSOFT WORD TO PASTE AND TRANSLATE OR SPELL CHECKER OR JUST TO GET MULTIPLE PAGES TOGETHER READY FOR PRINT ?

AND HOW MUCH MEMORY WILL INSTALLING YOUR SYSTEM USE UP ?

Please don't type ni caps, it's harder to read and looks like you are shouting so DON'T.

The default Ubuntu install comes with openoffice which is a suite just like MS office.

Memory requirements: You can expect the whole system to use up about 1,5 Gigabytes of hard disk - and it is happy with slightly over 500 Megabytes of RAM. The live CD that already contains openoffice and everything fits on a 650-Megabyte CD.

You can save favourites in all browsers. If you use Chrome and sign in, they will sync to your other systems via the cloud

but in the Ubuntu system, is there a feature to save files, as favorites

the menu bar top left side of screen we got favorites in which files can be
saved into ;
Ubuntu provides similar ?
