Brother scanner "invalid argument"

I have a brother MFC J5620DW all in one. I did get it to print (Ofianlly) It will not scan. I get an error "invalid argument" back from any SANE base of PDFscan tool.
Running Ubuntu 16.04

I installed all of them. I think the Brscan4 is the one I need. I think
the issue is with Ubuntu recognizing the USB port?

Did you install the scan-key-tool as well

Do you also have sane-utils installed from the repositories?
