i can get in to my acount with out a pasword but i cant open the administor to put my pasword back on

i need a over ride oe a line of coad to overide or to acess my administor aconts i deleted my pasword and now i cant acss the admisistor to add a new person ass the administor or to put my password back on my name its verry frustating

Hold shift at boot, select recovery mode then select root. You can now run:

passwd name

and reset your password, replace foo with your username. You can then reboot by

reboot

You can now log in as your username with your new password.
