Can't change album art

Asked by Spencer Crawford

I went through the manual, no answer, read through similar issues, followed the steps. Art will not change. Displaying artwork not relevant to the artist. Trashed all .jpeg in the folder, added correct, no go. Dropped in manually, no go. Scratching my head here.

Have you tried to drag and drop the image you want into rhythm box where it shows you a CD at the lower left corner ? Should work...

Yes, doesn't stay. Reverts back to the wrong image.

Hi. There might be a mixup with the tags. Are these mp3s? There are basically two versions used for tagging mp3s.

Search the Ubuntu Software Center for a program called "EasyTag". Use that program to work on the tag.

Sorry, forgot to elaborate on the two versions:

It's a big mess with those two versions like everything MP3 related it was handled stupidly. Conflicts can arise from the two versions butting heads. Using EasyTag will help you remedy this.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Spencer Crawford for more information if necessary.
